Dick sent me a 'wad' of articles and documents -- some of which I may be unable to throw up on the web site -- some of it is too hard to get into 'quality' text or image form. I have been very tardy in getting this stuff up. I apologize.

Memorabilia: Photographs and 35MM slides

Dick had collected a large quantity of photographs and slides from The Early Years.   (And, I mean early: We're talkin' bell-bottom pants, long hair, beards, and leather hiking boots, folks.)   He left all this at UBSC when he retired, and Donna Roberts assumed the "responsibility" of keeping them.   When she found out about the UBSC web site, she was only too glad to unload them on me.

I am uncertain as to whether Dick took all these pictures himself, or whether he was merely "The Keeper" of many pictures that others passed along to him.

A lot of the material pertains to "Corporate", versus the UBSC environment, but there is plenty of UBSC-centric material to embarrass most of us.

The colors on many of the photographs and slides have faded/shifted in the 20-30 years since they were taken.   I'll need to spend some time in gimp -- tweaking the colors so you'll recognize things.   And, it'll be a while before the slides get up on the web site.   I need to determine the best way to get them into JPEG format.
