Good Morning: It is with a heavy heart that I let our DTC Family know that Bobbie passed away quietly of Alzheimer's at the Assisted Living Facility that she was residing at on Friday morning, November 10th with her family by her side.

Her daughter Kristi reached out to me Friday evening to let me know and asked that I share with her friends here at the DTC Office. Arrangements are still pending, but once Kristi reaches back out to me with the details, I will make sure to pass them along to all of you.

Please keep Bobbie's family in your thoughts and prayers as I will. She will be truly missed and was a "shining star" here at DTC for many many years.

If there is someone I have missed from this DTC distribution list who worked with Bobbie, please pass along to those additional folks who would like to know.

Thanks, Angela
Angela L. Gajarski

Bobbie Colberg

Barbara "Bobbie" Colberg

February 22, 1935 — November 10, 2023

Barbara (Bobbie) Colberg, age 88, died peacefully at the StoneCreek Assisted Living & Memory Care facility on November 10, 2023. She was a much-loved wife, mother, volunteer, and friend to many in her 88 years. Born in Nebraska but moved to Colorado at a young age and always called Colorado her home. Bobbie was an avid supporter and volunteer of many charities, including the Cancer Auxiliary of Colorado serving as Chairman and President for several years. She was an avid entertainer in her younger years and if she wasn’t attending charity events and parties, she was hosting them. Many would say she passed that gene onto her children. In addition to her charity work, Bobbie worked at Wells Fargo for almost 25 years as an Administrative Assistant before her retirement in 2015.

She is survived by her son David Novinger, daughter Kristi Novinger, and two grandchildren, Preston and Carter Novinger.

Her family would like to thank the nursing staff in StoneCreek Memory Care and the hospice nursing care provided through Bloom Health who so loving and patiently cared for her.

Funeral services will take place at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Co 80122 on Saturday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bobbie’s honor to the Cancer Auxiliary of Colorado.
