"Here's the first batch of pictures promised of days gone by.
These shots were taken on 4/5/85, my last day of fun and frivolity at UBSC.
Check out the cutting edge, state-of-the-art equipment sitting
around. Not to mention ashtrays and cigarettes seen now and then."

"Recently, Alice confessed that we almost scared her off during her initial job
interviews by sharing the 'challenges' of working for Dick Watt. Fortunately, she blew
us off and took the job. Bet Dick was glad she did. So were the rest of us."

"I sent a note and print of this picture to Jean Watt with our sympathy card.
She wrote back saying it was a keepsake and wonderful reminder of Dick's fond memories
of his days at UBSC with all of us."

"It's my understanding Piccinelli and Mauro [below] intermittently shared an apartment in
Minneapolis during the Norwest days. (Or, as Piccinelli called the city, ManyApples.) Too
bad we don't have pictures of that pad. Wonder who made the decorating decisions?
Who cooked? Who cleaned?"

"Alice Palmer and I worked on an office remodel project with Jack in the early
'80's. A highlight for us was running all over town on the company dime buying wall
hangings for the offices (seen in many of these pictures.) I can now report we had
a ball! And, we were pretty sure Jack was relieved not to be involved."
