Pueblo, Colorado

Conditions

Weather, Radar and Web Cams.

The images and weather data below are aggregated from other sources (over which I have no control.) Some images may, at times, be 'broken'. Others may be frozen in (past) time. Too, upstream problems may can occur in fetching the weather conditions. Repeated RELOADS may get you around these problems.

If not otherwise disallowed in/by your browser, this page will reload (refresh) every 3 minutes. It appears that none of the web cams update any more often than that.

Parkview Medical - South view [did not load] [Image-Updated: Tue, Sep 7, 2010 6:28:27 MDT]

The view from Parkview Hospital on the north side of downtown Pueblo -- looking southeast. Grand Avenue is in the lower right foreground -- running south . The gold dome of the Pueblo County Building can be seen at the horizon - just to the left of the new (2009) 6-story addition to the hospital. This camera is fixed in this position (as far as I know.)

In the lower left is the 3rd floor skyway linking the hospital with a medical building across Grand Ave.

And, at center-left is an apartment building that is located at the southwest corner of Mineral Palace Park
Historic Arkansas River Parkway [did not load] [Image-Updated: Tue, Sep 7, 2010 6:26:31 MDT]
The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo [HARP]. This is a waterway through downtown Pueblo that follows the old Arkansas riverbed from pre-1921 and the devastating flood of that year. (The Arkansas River is actually 5 blocks south of here.)

The camera is mounted on the upper level of a three-story parking garage on the east side of Main St. and on the south side of The Riverwalk. The folks that control this camera can (and do) wave it around.

Sometimes it points N.W. across Main St. towards the upper section of The Riverwalk and Lake Elizabeth.

Sometimes it points N.E. towards The Gateway Park section of The Riverwalk - where the construction of The Veterans' Bridge is underway.

Sometimes it points S.W. - towards The Pueblo Public Library.

And sometimes you can tell when it's "Take A Child To Work Day".  Smiley
KOAA-Pueblo web cam [did not load]
This camera is mounted on a tower at the Pueblo operations of KOAA-TV. From this location on Big Hill at the south end of Seventh Avenue, the camera has a great view of many sections of Pueblo.

This camera does not posses the quality of the other cameras featured on this page -- it has poor focus and a reddish cast. Quite often it is a mystery as to why it is pointed where it is. At night it is often zoomed in on an employee's car in the parking lot. Nevertheless, it is sometimes zoomed in on some well-know feature of Pueblo: Dutch Clark Stadium, CSU-Pueblo, Colorado State Insane Asylum, etc..
1st and Grand web cam [did not load]
This is a web cam mounted on a building just south of 1st Street on Grand Avenue -- about 4 blocks to the NW of camera #2 - above. It, too, can be (will be) waved around and/or zoomed by the folks that control it.

Sometimes it points north up Grand Avenue with the gold dome of the Pueblo County building near the center-left horizon.

Sometimes it points the other way down Grand Avenue just before it dog-legs to the S.E. and the view is of the old Vail Hotel on the right, and City Hall in the center with the City Auditorium to its left.

Sometimes it points straight down the center-line of Victoria Avenue (which runs due SW) directly at Union Station (and, on a clear day, we see Greenhorn Mountain in the far distance.) And, sometimes they point at random features (like the county courthouse, the Wells Fargo building, the Rawlings Public Library, etc.) and zoom in.

I-25 mm106 - North [did not load] I-25 mm106 - South [did not load]
Image timestamp: 2010-09-07 06:26:45
The CDOT web cams on I-25 mm106.1 about 6 miles north of Pueblo.
The "S" image is taken approx. 5 seconds after the "N" image.
Too often the CDOT system is screwed up and delivers the wrong image(s).
There are two more web cam sites on I-25 south of Pueblo. Visit the CDOT web site here.
